Thank you, everyone, for supporting Engine Room and our local jazz musicians. 2009 was an exciting year of traditional and hot jazz. George and I look forward to continuing our quest to help foster one of the best early jazz scenes in the country by creating a venue that thrives on that era. Engine Room is the venue where jazz musicians and enthusiasts revel in the energy early jazz creates. A place where our musicians are front and center to interact with the listeners and not pushed to the side as wallpaper music. Our next event will be Saturday, March 20th, 2010. Band TBA. Engine Room will be taking a sabbatical in January and February to take a deeper look at how we can continue supporting this vision. If you have any suggestions, please feel free to contact us.
